These kits have mostly survived not only the three owners, but adventures with additional playpals.
The boys are older now and we are giving them 3 additional explorer sets to allow them to extend their builds and/or replace a couple of older pieces.
Our one dissatisfaction is that we requested these be mailed to their Mom, mailing address confirmed, but it ended up coming to us. Can't afford another shipping fee to forward it on, so they will not get this until after Christmas as they live in another state and we are not traveling during the holidays.

Mes deux enfants (3 et 9 ans) ont donc vraiment adoré.

I wish we had larger (or 2nd) set, as he wants to build bigger and better forts now.
While it is a little pricey, it is money well spent in my opinion due to the many times we have used this. Doubles as a huge coloring/drawing board as well!

I only wish everything fit back in the box for storage.
First thing on Christmas morning they hauled all four boxes into the family room and got to work. In less than an hour they had a 3-story structure built. The next day that structure came down and a fantastic labyrinth was constructed. As our 8-year-old said, “Best fort ever!” We also love how they work together to build. It was very easy for them to figure out. They did it all on their own without looking at instructions.
